In this article we’re going to discuss various guides for Clash of Clans attack strategies. Let us first discuss the army composition which is the most important part of Clash of Clans attack strategy.
In the early game you will want to have an army that is cheap, effective and as fast as possible, so you should probably start with a barbarian/archer mix with maybe a couple of wall breakers thrown in for good measure. The main strength of such an army is its very low cost, so you should be able to deploy it very early in the game and you should also be able to attack very frequently with it. Such an army is most useful for gathering elixir since it has such a low cost. Of course such a cheap army is bound to have some weaknesses in this case it comes in the form of defenses that do splash damage and also its damage output is not too impressive. So this means that your best strategy is to take out splash defenses first, which usually come in the form of mortars. Their main weakness is their blind spot. But probably the best way to disable splash defenses is to do it with lightning spells.
Another good variation of this army composition is to you add minions to the mix. This will unfortunately cost some Dark Elixir so this is not the best composition for farming it, its main strength again lays in its low production time and cost. Also this composition will add flying minions to the mix, which will be very effective against the bases with poor air defense. This composition still has the same weaknesses, but with an addition of Dark Elixir cost. With this army you should avoid high level wizard’s towers and air defense towers.
Another Clash of Clans attack strategy guide consists of wall breakers, goblins and giants. This army is mostly used to farm lower level town halls, as it has a rather weak damage output. Its strongest feature the amount of loot it can gather. It is also very cheap and has a quick production time. But keep in mind that this army is not meant to actually win battles but to gather as much loot as possible and that means you will not get many trophies. Now let’s move on to the healer/giant combination. It should consist of 1-2 healers; 8-20 giants 0-12 wall breakers and the rest should be archers, goblins and barbarians. This army is a bit slower and more expensive than the above armies, but it makes up for it in versatility. It can take out much stronger bases, but is not so good at farming elixir, due to its high cost. The worst thing you can encounter with this army is a well placed spring trap, since it will fling your giants away and leave your healers with no one to heal.
Clash of Clans attack strategy allows you to use various army compositions, but it is up to you, to find the one that suits you best. I hope that this will at least in some small way help your Clash of Clans attack strategy.
